Houston brings people together


Witnessing love stories in all their forms is a joy and life changing moment. From sprawling hay fields to cozy, Christmas-filled moments at home, this anniversary portrait session with the Holidays was a thoughtful reminder of how personalities and artistic vision can shape the photographs we will love for a lifetime.


The couple first met at a networking event in Houston, introduced by friends and coworkers. From the start, their connection was good. He loved her serious yet playful spirit and beautiful smile, while she was drawn to his calmness and hard-working nature. An opposites-attract dynamic.


Over the years, they’ve built a marriage full of traditions, most notably their love for Christmas. Each year, they celebrate by taking festive holiday portraits together, and this anniversary session marked another chapter in that joyful tradition.

Country Chic in the hay fields


Our first stop was the husband’s choice, a sun-dappled hay field in Pearland, where tall golden stalks stretched as far as the eye could see. The couple opted for country chic outfits that mirrored the natural, rustic vibe of the space.

cozy christmas at home


The next stop was the wife’s choice, an at-home portrait session. The Holidays’ kitchen was decorated for the Christmas season, and their matching Christmas onesies were the perfect pair. Their home was the perfect ad for any home goods/home decor store. It was modern, pristine, and cutely decorated with little Christmas decor items like bows, pinecones, and of course, a Christmas tree.


They slipped into their cozy outfits, sipping cocoa, decorating cookies, and sharing quiet, joyful moments that felt like the joy of Christmas. Capturing this side of them as a portrait photographer in Houston allowed their personalities to shine through in every frame. From inside jokes to delicate kisses, these photos tell a story of growing love.
